Merry Christmas

I [tried to] take this cute photo of this cute little toddler today and learned to get a really cute photo we need two people, one to keep him in place and maybe even get him to smile with one to take the picture.  Cute nonetheless!

Fall Photos

Guess it's the time of year people start thinking about family photos for Christmas cards. To my pleasure, a few have asked me to take their pictures.  This is what I've been having fun with lately.  Other than, of course, my cute little kid! :)

This Moment

Inspired by SouleMama.
{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

Happy

Here are my new favorite photos of Caleb. He is such a happy smiley guy. Though he still quite confused by the large black thing we call a camera and not into performing for such a contraption. I captured a couple fun ones then he got back to his own business of playing with his new found entertainment.

A Story

Camden has a pool.
Camden has a friend, too.  She is very cute!
Sadly, the pool is not big enough for both of them.
It's hardly even big enough for Camden.
But that's okay because his friend would rather play chase.
And they all lived happily ever after. The End.

It was supposed to keep him out

There is something very interesting going on in the bottom of our firewood pile. Camden has been doing his best to investigate the past couple of weeks. And creating a little chaos and destruction of the pile .

Since it is just firewood, we don't really mind, but for the past week Ryan has been doing his best to keep Camden out of the area. But the little fence seems to be no match for a dog on a mission.

Look at that cute innocent look on his face. What? Am I doing something wrong? But this is fun."

He gets in ... then has a hard time getting out.
Me, in a cheerful voice: "Camden, are you coming?"
Camden: "Uhh, Can I go under here?"

"How about here?"
"Come on, dude."
"Umm, I'm having troubles getting out." Insert dog whining here. "How did I get in here?"

...five minutes later:

"Now when I can go back to do more investigating?"

Four Day Weekend!

I'm a little off with the weekly posts I recently started. There is no menu plan this week and Garden Tuesday is going to be Garden Wednesday...

...because....

... I spent the weekend here

and here
(with a beautiful mountain top view ... from in a cloud.)

and here

with these fine people!

"Hi!"

Alternate title; "How many pictures of Camden do you really want to see on this blog?"

This was taken Tuesday while we were grilling dinner over the fire. He chose to settle a bit away from the fire. And it just looks like he's saying Hi. Though if you've ever met him, you know he's not this calm when actually saying hi.

Photo Shoots: Friends and a Wedding

Just to show a bit of the fun I've been having lately.

For the wedding, I took a few fun photos after the ceremony, while the professional photographer had a short break.

(They were practicing their dance moves for the Reception Entrance.)

The Evening of Monday, April 5, 2010

A beautiful evening to be outdoors.

A little yard work.

Check on the garden and plant a random onion patch in front of the house.

[Homemade] Trellis for the pole beans and cucumbers.

Play with Camden (who cannot stay still long enough to be in focus.)

Trim out dead raspberry vines.

Yes, a beautiful evening!
